I have started to see an increase in jewellery orders. This is obviously welcome and maybe shows that people are starting to feel a bit more confident about themselves and the economy.
I have just posted out this bronze moongazing pendant for a customers sister. I normally need about a week to create this piece but had to get it ready for shipping in two days!
I also completed a moonstone oak leaf ring and although it was well received, the size provided by the customer was wrong and needed considerable enlargement. I don’t charge for any additional aftersales adjustments. I just want to make sure my customers expectations are completely satisfied.
I have a few sculpts on the go including a bust of a horses head. I am spending an inordinate amount lot time trying to get the mane right. I will post a WIP soon.
I am also working on some female torso’s one of which is based on the sketch below.
I’m slowly getting around to doing more sculpture work and will be able to get fully geared up once my studio is properly set up. I’m going to work exclusively with bronze with patina’s or cold painted enamels.
